Parra x Nike Air Max 1

For later this year, Nike worked with Dutch artist Parra on a collaborative Air Max 1. The sneaker comes with an all black upper with interesting use of different premium materials. The mid-sole is speckled in the artist’s trademark colors and the in-soles carry his art. Accents on the sneakers upper are set in turquoise. Even the stitching comes in the artists colors, which is a very nice detail, on the otherwise very subtle looking shoe. Via mashKULTURE.

By now everyone knows DJ Clark Kent is a true stand up guy. His shoe game is beyond official and not to mention he has access to Nike’s Innovation Kitchen. With that said, its really no biggie for DJCK to give sneakers away. Remember the 112 Pack giveaway? Asics x Gettry Procourt AR “Hamburger”

It looks like sneaker designers are looking for new inspiration, in this case fast food. Asics got together with retailer Gettry to create the “Hamburger” Procourt AR. All colors of the hamburger ingredients are represented on the upper of the sneaker, which comes in a mix of materials. They did also not forget the french fries, those you find on the inner sole.

Final Home x G-Shock Mini

Once again Japanese brand Final Home gets together with G-Shock. The design stayed the same, the color changed. Now coming in a light grey colorway, the G-Shock Mini comes with some nice printed details, mainly on the strap, reminding of a birth bracelet. The watch comes packaged in a nice paper box and is now available from Tres Bien.

Nike Summer 2009 Footwear

Lots of new Nike sneakers have released as part of their Summer 2009 Collection. Available now are new colorways of the Big Nike Hi, several Big Nike Low’s, several Blazer Hi’s, new Air Max’s, the Jordan 1 Hi in canvas and suede make-ups, Jordan 1 Hi and Lo with green polka dots, a new Air Structure Triax and the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid in the black colorway. Vael Fall/Winter 2009 Terminatrix

Vael is introducing an interesting new high top sneaker as part of their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection - the Terminatrix. The sneaker comes in a nice premium leather with an overall interesting construction and great details, including lacing and a zipper, contrasting stitching, beautiful branding and a nice clean white sole.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2009 High Top Sneakers

For Fall 2009 Marc Jacobs present some new High Top Sneakers. The sneaker comes with a quilted pattern on the side-panels and a mid-ankle strap. It will be available in black, bordeaux and white leather, as well as black and grey nylon.

Vainl Archive x Porter Backpacks

Japanese brands Vainl Archive and Porter worked together on a series of backpacks. The backpacks come in very durable materials and feature a waterproof bottom. LA based cap specialty store Hall Of Fame has released their latest set of New Era Caps - the Triple H Band styles. We can safely say that we seen a fair amount of New Era caps in recent years, but the addition of the band on the caps looks great and very different and it has not been all over the place already. The cap comes in red/blue/white and in navy/orange/white, both very strong colorways.

Nike Tennis Classic Vintage - Fall ‘09

We’ve already shown you some nice looks at the Vintage versions of Nike’s Tennis Classic model and now it appears that two new colorways will be arriving this coming fall. While the previous Vintage Tennis Classics models that we previewed all stuck to traditional-looking colorways, these new ones add some bolder flavor to the shoe. There will be a white on white version with a neon green lining, heel panel and laces and a black on black that uses the same color blocking, but swaps in a bright red for the accents. Both colorways sport worn and yellowed midsoles and perforated Swooshes. Watch out for these when they hit select Nike retailers this fall. Via HighSnobiety.

Nike Dunk High GS - Optimus Prime

We’ve seen plenty of Transformers-inspired Nikes, but these are perhaps the most fully realized yet. The Nike Dunk High GS appears above in a combination of patent leather and metallic silver leather that reminds your author of his beloved die-cast Optimus Prime circa 1988. The blue patent leather on the toe and side panels features flames that perfectly match the tongue and ankle collar. Toss in an Autobot insignia with wings on the tongue tag and Megatron has some serious competition. Available in a run of small sizes (US 7Y and below), you can cop these now from eBay.

But the World Champs still fell to the Magic 128-124 in overtime, during that game Michael Jordan wore his seventh signature the Air Jordan VII. This year, Jordan Brand will celebrate this scoring achievement along with MJ’s other 60 plus point games with packs of sneakers including the Air Jordan 1 Celtics vs Bulls 60+Pack and the above Air Jordan VII from the Bulls vs Magic 60+ Pack. Based on the colors, the above seem to be a retro of the original 1992 Air Jordan VII “Raptor” Black/True Red colorway. After announcing this collaborate project between Ransom and adidas Originals yesterday, we can give you a first look at one of the boots of the collection today. Once again designer Ronnie Fieg got together with Asics to create a new Gel Lyte III for New York retailer David Z. The sneaker comes in a dark grey/light grey colorway with blue nubuck accents set around the laces and the side-panels. Greedy Genius is about to introduce a new model in to their collection - the Ocean Runner. This model features a classic boat shoe re-invented into a high top sneaker with classic nautical styling. The Ocean Runner features a tonal nubuck upper, external side lacing details and nylon pipped edges. Without a doubt we can say that this is the nicest Greedy Genius silhouette to date - premium materials, attention to detail, without over-designing the shoe.
