For later this year, Nike worked with Dutch artist Parra on a collaborative Air Max 1. The sneaker comes with an all black upper with interesting use of different premium materials. The mid-sole is speckled in the artist’s trademark colors and the in-soles carry his art. Accents on the sneakers upper are set in turquoise. Even the stitching comes in the artists colors, which is a very nice detail, on the otherwise very subtle looking shoe. Via mashKULTURE.

We’ve already shown you some nice looks at the Vintage versions of Nike’s Tennis Classic model and now it appears that two new colorways will be arriving this coming fall. While the previous Vintage Tennis Classics models that we previewed all stuck to traditional-looking colorways, these new ones add some bolder flavor to the shoe. There will be a white on white version with a neon green lining, heel panel and laces and a black on black that uses the same color blocking, but swaps in a bright red for the accents. We’ve seen plenty of Transformers-inspired Nikes, but these are perhaps the most fully realized yet. The Nike Dunk High GS appears above in a combination of patent leather and metallic silver leather that reminds your author of his beloved die-cast Optimus Prime circa 1988. The blue patent leather on the toe and side panels features flames that perfectly match the tongue and ankle collar. Toss in an Autobot insignia with wings on the tongue tag and Megatron has some serious competition. Available in a run of small sizes (US 7Y and below), you can cop these now from eBay.

Since word broke a few months ago about a sneaker project done by Kanye West and Louis Vuitton info was scarce and kept under wraps. Photos finally surfaced of (most) of the lineup recently, but pricing has still been a bit of a mystery and a guessing game - until now.

Late last night, a Fresh Produce Daily reader sent us information about the upcoming Kanye West x Louis Vuitton shoes including the prices and the names of each model. The men’s collection consists of three models, the Louis Vuitton Don’s (most likely named after Ye, but also could be a shout to Don C, his manager), Jasper’s (named after Kanye’s barber), and the Mr. Hudson’s (named after the GOOD Music artist and 808 collaborator of the same name).

Inspired by the efforts of Mishka NYC, retailer Extra Butter has taken it upon themselves on more than one occasion to put together some interesting and visually captivating lookbooks of their own. This time around, the shoot was inspired by the 2009 Mishka spring release “Kaiju Invades” tee done by L’amour Supreme. As well the shoot includes a special guest spot bassist Kent of No Redeeming Social Value. Hats off to Extra Butter for going the extra mile and putting their own little spin on things.

For those continually memorized by the graphical works of artist KAWS, his OriginalFake brand has provided a cheap(er) and more easily available format to acquire his popular art. Two new designs are seen here for the month of April in the form of the “New Text” and “Ct Liz” t-shirt. Both feature some strong visual designs which incorporate liberal uses of color, especially in the case of the New Text tee. Washington based boutique Commonwealth has once again gotten together with New Era. The outcome is the “Marble” series consists of three colorways - seafoam, black and grey. The colors are based on the Omni Pumps that Commonwealth released a couple of years ago in collaboration with Reebok. They are planning on releasing the caps some time later today.

The collaboration from New Balance Japan just keep on coming. This time Fame City joins forces with Mita Sneakers and New Balance. Mita Sneakers for some reason always seems to have their hands in the New Balance collaborations. They worked on the 575 Trail and gave the upper a wild multicolor look, mixing suede and perforated leathers. Ever since Kanye wore what we later would know to be the Nike Air Yeezy on stage at the Grammy’s, the public has been waiting and wondering if they would ever come to retail doors. We have just received official word from Nike that the release date for the Zen Grey Air Yeezys will be Saturday, April 4th.
